PROCEDURE
INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/ DPF)
Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.
Note
If reusing the camshaft position sensor, be sure to inspect the O-ring.
Install the camshaft position sensor to the timing chain cover assembly with the bolt.
Note
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the camshaft position sensor.
Make sure that the O-ring is not damaged or does not jump out of position during installation.
Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.
INSTALL CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/o DPF)
Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.

Install the camshaft position sensor to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the bolt.
Note
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the camshaft position sensor.

Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.
INSTALL SENSOR BRACKET (w/o DPF)
Connect the differential pressure sensor connector.
Install the sensor bracket to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the nut.
INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
Start the engine and check that there are no oil leaks.
INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (w/o DPF)
