ECM(w/o DPF) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

    Click here

  7. REMOVE ECM


    1. A01VEJT

      Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and disconnect the 2 connectors from the ECM.

      Note

      If there are is any foreign matter such as mud or water on a connector, clean the connector.

    2. A01VIXN

      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and the ECM.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET


    1. A01VFNC

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket from the ECM.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET


    1. A01VGTR

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.
