ECM(w/ DPF) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for LHD)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for RHD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for LHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for RHD)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for LHD)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for RHD)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL (for LHD)

    Click here

  10. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL (for RHD)

    Click here

  11. SEPARATE NO. 1 HOSE TO HOSE TUBE (w/ Combustion Type Power Heater)


    1. A01VFOG

      Remove the 2 bolts and separate the No. 1 hose to hose tube from the vehicle.

  12. SEPARATE WATER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Combustion Type Power Heater)


    1. A01VFRX

      Remove the 2 nuts and separate the water pipe sub-assembly from the vehicle.

  13. REMOVE ECM (for LHD)


    1. A01VDVL

      Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and disconnect the 2 connectors from the ECM.

      Note

      If there are is any foreign matter such as mud or water on a connector, clean the connector.

    2. A01VFD1

      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECM from the vehicle.

  14. REMOVE ECM (for RHD)


    1. A01VM1H

      Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and disconnect the 2 connectors from the ECM.

      Note

      If there are is any foreign matter such as mud or water on a connector, clean the connector.

    2. A01VDJR

      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECM from the vehicle.

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET (for LHD)


    1. A01VJK9

      Remove the screw and No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET (for RHD)


    1. A01VKWT

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET (for LHD)


    1. A01VLW8

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.

  18. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET (for RHD)


    1. A01VJK2

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.
