DIESEL THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ELECTRIC EGR CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT AIR HOSE

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the air hose from the diesel throttle body assembly.

  3. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

      Disconnect the connector of the generator assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connector of the starter assembly.

    3. Disconnect the connector of the intake air temperature sensor.

    4. Disconnect the connector of the diesel throttle body assembly.

    5. Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    6. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

  4. DISCONNECT OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly from the intake air connector.

  5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR WITH DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake air connector.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and remove the intake air connector with diesel throttle body assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp Bracket

      Remove the 4 bolts and wire harness clamp bracket, and remove the diesel throttle body assembly and gasket from the intake air connector.
