PARKING BRAKE CABLE(for Rear Drum Brake) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  2. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE CABLE

    Click here

  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  4. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

  5. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY (for TMMF Made)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE REAR BRAKE SHOE KIT (for TMC Made)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE REAR BRAKE SHOE KIT (for TMMF Made)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR (except 1ND-TV)

  9. REMOVE FUEL TANK COVER VENT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

      *2 No. 2 parking brake cable assembly
      *3 No. 3 parking brake cable assembly

      Separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

    2. Remove cable clamp A from the body.

    3. Remove the 5 bolts.

    4. Remove the cable clamp B.

    5. A01VLNX

      Remove the bolt and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the backing plate.

  11. REMOVE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (for TMMF Made)

      Separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

    2. Remove cable clamp A from the body.

    3. Remove the 5 bolts.

    4. Remove the cable clamp B.

    5. A01VJ4Q

      Squeeze the point indicated by the arrow and pull out the parking brake cable.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.
