PARKING BRAKE CABLE(for Rear Disc Brake) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the casing cap onto the rear disc brake cylinder guide.

   2. Connect the cable end to the rear disc brake cylinder operation lever.

   3. Install cable clamp B onto the rear axle beam.

      Note

      Securely install the clamp.

      Tech Tips

      When reusing the parking brake cable assembly, replace cable clamp B with a new part.

   4. Tighten the 5 bolts.

      Torque:

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

   5. Pass the parking brake cable through a new cable clamp A, and then install cable clamp A onto the stud bolt.

      Note

      Securely install the clamp.

   6. Connect the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly onto the parking brake equalizer.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FUEL TANK COVER VENT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR (except 1ND-TV)

   Click here

5. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

   Torque:

   103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }

6. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL

   Click here

7. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
