PARKING BRAKE CABLE(for Rear Disc Brake) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  2. LOOSEN PARKING BRAKE CABLE

    Click here

  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  4. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR (except 1ND-TV)

  6. REMOVE FUEL TANK COVER VENT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 Parking Brake Equalizer
      *2 No. 2 parking brake cable assembly
      *3 No. 3 parking brake cable assembly

      Separate the parking brake cable from the parking brake equalizer

    2. Remove cable clamp A from the body.

    3. Remove the 5 bolts.

    4. Remove the cable clamp B.

    5. A01VJTH

      Disconnect the cable end from the rear disc brake cylinder operation lever.

    6. Using needle-nose pliers, disengage the claw of the casing cap and disconnect the parking brake cable.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.
