REAR BRAKE(for Drum Type) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE (for TMC Made)

   
   

   1. Provisionally install the hub nuts.

   2.

      *1	Automatic Adjust Lever
      	Expand

      Remove the hole plug, and turn the adjuster to expand the shoe until the drum locks.

   3.

      *1	Automatic Adjust Lever
      	Contract

      Hold the automatic adjust lever away from the adjuster, and contract the brake shoe by turning the adjust bolt using another screwdriver until the drum can rotate smoothly.

      Standard
      12 notches

   4. Install the hole plug.

4. BLEED CLUTCH LINE (for Manual Transmission)

5. ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE (for TMMF Made)

   Note

   Do not use screwdrivers or any other tools to rotate the adjuster.

   
   

   1. Press the brake pedal 30 times (not the parking brake). The clearance between the brake shoes and drum will be adjusted automatically.

6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

   Torque:

   103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }
