PROCEDURE
REMOVE REAR BRAKE SHOE KIT (for TMC Made)
Using SST, separate the shoe return spring from the front brake shoe.
Note
Do not damage the wheel cylinder boot.
Using SST, remove the shoe hold down spring cup, shoe hold down spring, pin and front brake shoe.
Remove the tension spring.
Remove the shoe return spring from the rear brake shoe and remove the parking brake shoe strut set.
Using SST, remove the shoe hold down spring cup, shoe hold down spring, pin and rear brake shoe.
Using needle-nose pliers, separate the parking brake cable.
REMOVE REAR BRAKE SHOE KIT (for TMMF Made)
Using SST, remove the return shoe spring.
Note
Do not damage the wheel cylinder boot.
Using SST, remove the tension spring.
Using pliers, remove the shoe hold down spring, pin and front brake shoe.
Note
Do not disassemble the strut set, and be careful not to damage or bend any of the components.
Using pliers, remove the shoe hold down spring, pin and rear brake shoe.
Using needle-nose pliers, disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake shoe lever.
REMOVE REAR BRAKE AUTOMATIC ADJUST LEVER (for TMC Made)
Remove the automatic adjust lever tension spring and remove the automatic adjust lever.
REMOVE REAR DRUM BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP
REMOVE REAR DRUM BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG
REMOVE REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)
Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, separate the brake tube from the rear wheel brake cylinder.
Tech Tips
Use a container to catch the brake fluid.
Remove the bolt and rear wheel brake cylinder.
REMOVE REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for TMMF Made)
Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, separate the brake tube from the rear wheel brake cylinder.
Tech Tips
Use a container to catch the brake fluid.
Remove the 2 bolts and rear wheel brake cylinder.
REMOVE REAR WHEEL CYLINDER KIT (for TMC Made)

| *2 | Wheel Cylinder Piston |
| *3 | Wheel Cylinder Cup |
| *4 | Compression Spring |
Remove the 2 wheel cylinder boots from the wheel brake cylinder.
Remove the 2 pistons.
Remove the wheel cylinder cup from each piston.
Remove the compression spring.
