  • Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE


    1. Install the front flexible hose with a new union bolt and a new gasket.

      Torque:
      30.4 N*m  { 310 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Install the front flexible hose lock securely into the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder.

    2. Install the front flexible hose and speed sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      29.4 N*m  { 300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Install the front flexible hose and speed sensor without twisting them.

    3. Install the front flexible hose with a new clip.

    4. Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, install the brake tube to the front flexible hose while holding the front flexible hose with a wrench.

      Torque:
      15.2 N*m  { 155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench.

  2. BLEED BRAKE LINE

  4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

    Torque:
    103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }
