FRONT BRAKE(for TMC Made) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG

2. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE BLEEDER PLUG CAP

3. INSTALL PISTON SEAL

      *1	Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease

      Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of a new piston seal as shown in the illustration.

   2. Install the piston seal onto the disc brake cylinder.

      Note

      Securely install the piston seal into the groove of the disc brake cylinder.

4. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE PISTON

      *1	Lithium Soap Base Glycol Grease
      *2	Disc Brake Piston
      *3	Cylinder Boot

      Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of a new cylinder boot as shown in the illustration.

   2. Apply a light layer of lithium soap base glycol grease to the entire circumference of the disc brake piston as shown in the illustration.

   3. Install the cylinder boot to the disc brake piston.

   4. Install the disc brake piston to the disc brake cylinder.

      Note

      Do not install the piston forcibly in the disc brake cylinder.

5. INSTALL CYLINDER BOOT

      *1	Set Ring
      *2	Cylinder Boot

      Install the cylinder boot into the disc brake cylinder.

      Note

      Securely install the cylinder boot into the groove of the disc brake cylinder.

   2. Using a screwdriver, install a new set ring.

      Note

      
      

      • Securely install the set ring into the groove of the cylinder boot.

      • Do not damage the cylinder boot.
