REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

    Note

    Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with any painted surfaces.

  3. REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE


    1. A01VHOG

      Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the 2 brake tubes while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.

      Note


      • Do not kink or damage the brake line.

      • Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and rear flexible hose.

  4. REMOVE REAR BRAKE TUBE FLEXIBLE HOSE (for Rear Disc Brake)


    1. A01VM0L

      Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, separate the brake tube while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.

      Note


      • Do not kink or damage the brake line.

      • Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.

    2. Remove the clip and separate the flexible hose.

    3. Remove the union bolt, gasket and flexible hose.
