BRAKE BOOSTER(for TMMF Made LHD) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL VACUUM SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Vacuum Sensor)


    1. Install a new check valve grommet to the brake booster assembly.

    2. A0048MHC01
      *a Matchmark

      Align the matchmarks of the brake booster assembly and install the vacuum sensor assembly.

  2. INSTALL BRAKE VACUUM CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY (except 2NR-FKE)


    1. A0048GX

      Install a new check valve grommet to the brake booster assembly.

    2. Install the brake vacuum check valve assembly to the brake booster assembly.

  3. INSTALL BRAKE VACUUM CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY (for 2NR-FKE)


    1. for CVT:


      1. Install 2 new check valve grommets to the brake booster assembly.

      2. A004AD7

        Install the 2 brake vacuum check valve assemblies to the brake booster assembly.

    2. for Manual Transaxle:


      1. Install a new check valve grommet to the brake booster assembly.

      2. A0048GX

        Install the brake vacuum check valve assembly to the brake booster assembly.

  4. TEMPORARILY INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS


    1. Install the push rod lock nut and brake master cylinder push rod clevis to the brake booster assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the push rod lock nut after adjusting the brake pedal height.
