BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER(for TMMF Made LHD) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR GROMMET


    1. Apply lithium soap base glycol grease to 2 new grommets.

    2. Install the 2 grommets onto the brake master cylinder reservoir.

  2. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. When installing a new brake master cylinder reservoir, cut out the clutch tube tip of the brake master cylinder reservoir as shown in the illustration (for Manual Transaxle).

      *a More than 27 mm (1.06 in.)

      Note


      • Do not allow any foreign matter to enter the brake master cylinder reservoir.

      • Make sure that fluid supply is not affected by cutting tube.

    2. Install the brake master cylinder reservoir to the master cylinder body.

    3. A01VM01

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T20, install the screw.

      Torque:
      3.5 N*m  { 36 kgf*cm, 31 in.*lbf }
