BRAKE PEDAL(for TMMF Made) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  6. SEPARATE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS


    1. A01VM42

      Remove the brake pedal return spring.

    2. Remove the clip and the push rod pin and separate the brake master cylinder push rod clevis from the brake pedal sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE COLUMN HOLE COVER SILENCER SHEET (for LHD)

  8. SEPARATE NO. 2 STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    1. Place matchmarks on the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft assembly and the steering column assembly.

    2. Loosen bolt A.

    3. Remove bolt B and separate the No. 2 steering intermediate shaft assembly from the steering column assembly.

  9. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    1. Disengage all the wire harness clamps from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts, bolt and the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    1. Disengage all the wire harness clamps from the brake pedal support sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts, bolt and the brake pedal support sub-assembly.
