BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER(for TMMF Made RHD) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER TO WAY TUBE (for 2ZR-FE)


    1. Fix the brake master cylinder body in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

      Using a union nut wrench, remove the brake master cylinder to way tube and brake tube way.

  2. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 BRAKE TUBE UNION (for 2ZR-FE)

      Remove the union bolt, front No. 1 brake tube union and 2 gaskets.

  3. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY (except 2ZR-FE)

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T20, remove the screw and the brake master cylinder reservoir.

  4. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE)


    1. Fix the brake master cylinder body in a vise between aluminum plates.

      Note

      Do not overtighten the vise.

    2. B0045KM

      Using a 5 mm pin punch and a hammer, tap out the straight pin.

    3. Remove the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly from the brake master cylinder body.

  5. REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR GROMMET


    1. Remove the 2 master cylinder reservoir grommets from the master cylinder reservoir.
