FRONT SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SPEED SENSOR


    1. Install the front speed sensor onto the steering knuckle with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • Check that the front speed sensor tip and installation portion are free of foreign matter.

      • Install the front speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.

    2. Install the No. 1 clamp onto the shock absorber with the bolt.

      Torque:
      29.4 N*m  { 300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the front speed sensor wire harness when installing it.

    3. Install the No. 2 clamp onto the body with the bolt.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not twist the front speed sensor wire harness when installing it.

    4. Engage the 2 clamps to install the wire harness to the body.

    5. Install the No. 3 clamp to the body.

    6. Connect the front speed sensor connector.

    7. Engage the front speed sensor connector clamp to the body.

  2. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER


    1. Install the front fender liner with the 7 clips, 2 screws and 4 new grommets.

      *a Correct *b Incorrect
    2. Install the pin hold clip as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically.

      • Do not rotate the clip after inserting it.

      • After installation, confirm that the slot is aligned vertically.

  3. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

    Torque:
    103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }
  4. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
