FRONT SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER


    1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the pin hold clip.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip - -
      *a 90° - -

    2. Remove the 7 clips, 2 screws, 4 grommets and remove the front fender liner.

      Tech Tips

      The grommet needs to be replaced with a new one because it will break when it is removed.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

    *1 No. 1 Clamp *2 No. 2 Clamp
    *3 No. 3 Clamp - -

    1. Disengage the front speed sensor connector clamp from the body.

    2. Disconnect the front speed sensor connector.

    3. Remove the No. 3 clamp from the body.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the wire harness from the body.

    5. Remove the bolt and separate the No. 2 clamp from the body.

    6. Remove the bolt and separate No. 1 clamp from the shock absorber.

    7. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

      Note


      • Keep the front speed sensor tip and installation portion free of foreign matter.

      • Remove the front speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
