DESCRIPTION

If a malfunction in the MMT (Multi-mode Manual Transmission) system is detected, the operations of VSC and TRC are prohibited by the fail-safe function. When the signals from the MMT are input normally, the fail-safe is cancelled and the DTC is not stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (GEAR POSITION AND SHIFT LEVER POSITION)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Check that the steering wheel is centered.

    5. Enter the following menu: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.

    6. In accordance with the display on the tester, read the Data List.
