DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via the CAN communication system.
The yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has a built-in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).
If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) are set.
| DTC No. | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
| C1419 | A data malfunction signal is received from the acceleration sensor. | Yaw rate sensor (Airbag sensor assembly) |
| C1435 | A data malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor. | Yaw rate sensor (Airbag sensor assembly)) |
WIRING DIAGRAM
Refer to DTCs C1232, C1234 and C1279 Click here.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
When replacing the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly), be sure to perform deceleration sensor 0 point calibration and CVT oil pressure calibration after performing AT/CVT learned values initialization. Click here
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
Tech Tips
When U0123 is output together with C1419 and/or C1435, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U0123 first Click here.
PROCEDURE
REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR (AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY)
Replace the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) Click here.
Note
Check the yaw rate sensor (airbag sensor assembly) signal after replacement Click here.
