DESCRIPTION

This DTC does not indicate a malfunction. The power steering ECU assembly outputs this DTC when it determines that the torque sensor zero point calibration has not been performed.

  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (TORQUE SENSOR)


    1. Perform torque sensor zero point calibration Click here.

      Tech Tips


      • *1: The power steering ECU assembly must be replaced if DTC C1515 is still output even after the torque sensor zero point calibration is performed 3 times.

      • *2: Perform the torque sensor zero point calibration again if DTC C1515 is still output even after the calibration is performed once or twice.
