ECM INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

   
   

   1. Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, install the No. 2 ECM bracket onto the ECM with the 2 screws.

      Torque:

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

   
   

   1. Using "TORX" socket wrench T25, install the No. 1 ECM bracket onto the ECM with the 2 screws.

      Torque:

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

3. INSTALL ECM

   
   

   1. Install the ECM with the bolt and 2 nuts.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the 2 connectors to the ECM, and slide the levers to engage the locks.

      Note

      Make sure that the levers are securely locked.

4. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER (for RHD)

5. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY (for RHD)

6. INSTALL BATTERY (for RHD)

7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
