THROTTLE BODY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY GASKET

   
   

   1. Install a new throttle body gasket to the intake manifold.

2. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the throttle body with motor assembly to the intake manifold with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the throttle body with motor assembly.

   2. Connect the throttle body with motor assembly connector.

3. CONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 2 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

4. CONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   

   1. Connect the No. 1 water by-pass hose to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUPPORT

   
   

   1. Install the air cleaner cap support to the throttle body with motor assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

8. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK

   Click here

9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

   Note

   
   

   • Be sure to perform this procedure after removing and reinstalling the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body with motor assembly components.

   • Perform the following procedure after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body with motor assembly components. The following procedure should also be performed if the throttle body with motor assembly is cleaned.

10. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL (for LHD)

12. INSTALL INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for LHD)

13. INSTALL INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for RHD)

14. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for LHD)

15. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for RHD)

16. INSTALL FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for LHD)
