THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Air Cleaner Cap Support
      *2 No. 2 Ventilation Hose

      Disengage the 4 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the air cleaner cap sub-assembly from the air cleaner cap support.

    3. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly from the No. 2 ventilation hose.

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUPPORT

      Loosen the clamp and remove the air cleaner cap support from the throttle with motor body assembly.

  4. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS HOSE ASSEMBLY

      Loosen the 2 hose clamps and disconnect the water by-pass hose assembly from the throttle with motor body assembly.

  5. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VDVG

      Disconnect the connector of the throttle with motor body assembly.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the engine wire from the throttle with motor body assembly.

    3. A01VDPO

      Remove the 4 bolts and the throttle with motor body assembly from the intake manifold sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

    4. Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake manifold sub-assembly.
