IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG

   
   

   1. Using a 16 mm spark plug wrench, install the 3 spark plugs.

      Torque:

      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 IGNITION COIL

   
   

   1. Install the 3 No. 1 ignition coils onto the cylinder head sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:

      8.9 N*m  { 91 kgf*cm, 79 in.*lbf }

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

   2. Connect the 3 connectors of the No. 1 ignition coils.

3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY
