CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VF6I

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.

      Note

      If reusing the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly, be sure to inspect the O-ring.

    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly onto the cylinder head sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

      • Make sure that the O-ring is not damaged or does not jump out of position during installation.

    3. Connect the connector of the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

  2. CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE


    1. Connect the ventilation hose with the hose clip.

  3. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK


    1. Start the engine and check that there are no oil leaks.
