CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VDU8

      Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.

  3. REMOVE CAM TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE O-RING


    1. A01VLWZ

      Remove the cam timing oil control valve O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly.
