SWITCH HOUSING INSPECTION

   INSPECT STEERING WHEEL SWITCH HOUSING (for Headlight Dimmer Switch LH Side Type)

   
   

   1. Check the resistance.

         Component without harness connected (Steering Wheel Switch Housing)

         -

         -

         Inspect the light switch circuit.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z1-2 (L_OFF) - A-2 (L_OFF) Always Below 1 Ω z1-3 (T) - A-14 (T) z1-4 (H) - A-5 (H) z1-5 (A) - A-10 (A) z1-6 (HU) - A-1 (HU) z1-7 (HF) - A-6 (HF) z1-12 (B) - A-13 (B) z1-13 (EL) - A-12 (EL) z1-14 (AHB) - A-16 (AHB) z1-15 (BLED) - A-15 (BLED) z1-16 (ELED) - A-7 (ELED) If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

         Inspect the turn signal switch circuit.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z1-8 (TR) - A-9 (TR) Always Below 1 Ω z1-9 (TL) - A-3 (TL) z1-10 (CR) - A-11 (CR) z1-13 (EL) - A-12 (EL) If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

         Inspect the wiper switch circuit.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z1-24 (W_OFF) - z2-10 (W_OFF) Always Below 1 Ω z1-25 (+S) - z2-13 (+S) z1-26 (+1) - z2-11 (+1) z1-27 (+2) - z2-12 (+2) z1-28 (MIST) - z2-14 (MIST) z1-31 (WF) - z2-15 (WF) z1-33 (E) - z2-5 (E) z1-34 (VR) - z2-4 (VR) If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z1-2 (L_OFF) - A-15 (L_OFF) Always Below 1 Ω z1-3 (T) - A-3 (T) z1-4 (H) - A-12 (H) z1-5 (A) - A-7 (A) z1-6 (HU) - A-16 (HU) z1-7 (HF) - A-11 (HF) z1-12 (B) - A-4 (B) z1-13 (EL) - A-5 (EL) z1-14 (AHB) - A-1 (AHB) z1-15 (BLED) - A-2 (BLED) z1-16 (ELED) - A-10 (ELED) If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition z1-8 (TR) - A-8 (TR) Always Below 1 Ω z1-9 (TL) - A-14 (TL) z1-10 (CR) - A-6 (CR) z1-13 (EL) - A-5 (EL) If the result is not as specified, replace the steering wheel switch housing.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
