   INSPECT LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (License Plate Light Assembly)

      for LH Side:

      
      

      1. Apply 6.0 V (4 dry cell batteries in series) to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

         Note:

         Do not apply more than 6.0 V.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L87-1 (B) - Dry cell battery positive (+) L87-2 (E) - Dry cell battery negative (-) License plate light assembly illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the license plate light assembly.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (License Plate Light Assembly)

      for RH Side:

      
      

      1. Apply 6.0 V (4 dry cell batteries in series) to the connector and check the illumination conditions.

         Note:

         Do not apply more than 6.0 V.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition L88-1 (B) - Dry cell battery positive (+) L88-2 (E) - Dry cell battery negative (-) License plate light assembly illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the license plate light assembly.
