LIGHTING SYSTEM FREEZE FRAME DATA


  1. FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Whenever a lighting system DTC is stored, the headlight ECU sub-assembly and object recognition camarea* stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.


      • *: w/ Pre-collision System (for Stereo Camera Type)

  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus:


      1. Body Electrical / AFS / Trouble Codes.


        Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes
      2. Body Electrical / AFS (Sub) / Trouble Codes.


        Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Trouble Codes
      3. w/ Pre-collision System (for Stereo Camera Type):

        Body Electrical / Front Recognition Camera (Front Lighting Control) / Trouble Codes.


        Body Electrical > Front Recognition Camera (Front Lighting Control) > Trouble Codes
    5. Select a DTC to display its freeze frame data.

      If operation is abnormal, there may be a LIN communication error

  3. CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA

    Note

    Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.

    4. Enter the following menus:


      1. Body Electrical / AFS / Clear DTCs.


        Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs
      2. Body Electrical / AFS (Sub) / Clear DTCs.


        Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Clear DTCs
      3. w/ Pre-collision System (for Stereo Camera Type):

        Body Electrical / Front Recognition Camera (Front Lighting Control) / Clear DTCs.
