SEAT BELT SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU

    1. Disconnect the L59 seat belt control ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Condition Specified Condition
      L59-1 (+B) - Body ground P - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      L59-12 (PGND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L59-13 (+BCP) - Body ground LG - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
    3. Connect the L59 seat belt control ECU connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L59-2 (MOR-) - L59-3 (MOR+) LA-B - LA-R Fitting assist operating 2.6 to 4.6 V
      L59-2 (MOR-) - L59-3 (MOR+) LA-B - LA-R Storage assist operating 2.6 to 6.0 V
      L59-10 (MOL-) - L59-11 (MOL+) LA-L - LA-G Fitting assist operating 2.6 to 4.6 V
      L59-10 (MOL-) - L59-11 (MOL+) LA-L - LA-G Storage assist operating 2.6 to 6.0 V
