REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly LH)

      Check the buckle switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition R49-4 - R49-10 Seat belt fastened (Buckle switch is on) Below 1 Ω R49-4 - R49-5 Seat belt fastened (Buckle switch is on) 10 kΩ or higher R49-4 - R49-5 Seat belt unfastened (Buckle switch is off) Below 1 Ω R49-4 - R49-10 Seat belt unfastened (Buckle switch is off) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly LH.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition R49-2 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) R49-3 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Buckle switch LED illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly LH.

   INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Seat Inner Belt Assembly RH)

      Check the buckle switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition R24-4 - R24-10 Seat belt fastened (Buckle switch is on) Below 1 Ω R24-4 - R24-5 Seat belt fastened (Buckle switch is on) 10 kΩ or higher R24-4 - R24-5 Seat belt unfastened (Buckle switch is off) Below 1 Ω R24-4 - R24-10 Seat belt unfastened (Buckle switch is off) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly RH.

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         OK
         Tester Connection Specified Condition R24-2 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) R24-3 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Buckle switch LED illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat inner belt assembly RH.

   INSPECT REAR CENTER SEAT LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

      *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Center Seat Lap Type Belt Assembly RH)

      Check the buckle switch.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L154-1 (CBR-) - L154-2 (+) Seat belt fastened (Buckle switch is on) 10 kΩ or higher L154-1 (CBR-) - L154-2 (+) Seat belt unfastened (Buckle switch is off) Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the rear center seat lap type belt assembly RH.
