FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)


    1. Install the front seat belt anchor plate.

    2. w/ Easy Access Buckle:


      1. B004UXAC01
        B004RMI Install in this Direction

        Pass the buckle of the front seat inner belt assembly LH through the hole of the separate type front seat cushion cover LH.

      2. B004RU1C03
        *a Stud Bolt
        *b Protruding Part

        Temporarily install the front seat inner belt assembly LH to the stud bolt.

      3. Install the 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        Nut A
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
        Nut B
        12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding part.

    3. w/o Easy Access Buckle:


      1. B004R2KC04
        *a Protruding Part

        Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding part.

    4. Attach the claw and install the connector.

      *A for 2WD *B for AWD
      *C w/o Easy Access Buckle *D w/ Easy Access Buckle
      B004RMI Install in this Direction - -

    5. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    6. Connect the 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. w/ Easy Access Buckle:


      1. B004S61C01
        B004RMI Install in this Direction

        Pass the buckle of the front seat inner belt assembly RH through the hole of the separate type front seat cushion cover RH.

      2. B004X9CC03
        *a Stud Bolt
        *b Protruding Part

        Temporarily install the front seat inner belt assembly RH to the stud bolt.

      3. Install the 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        Nut A
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
        Nut B
        12.5 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding part.

    2. w/o Easy Access Buckle:


      1. B004Y8HC03
        *a Protruding Part

        Install the front seat inner belt assembly RH with the nut.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

        Note

        Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding part.

    3. w/ Occupant Classification System:


      1. Attach the wire harness clamp.

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

    4. w/o Occupant Classification System:


      1. Attach the claw and install the connector.

        B004RMI Install in this Direction - -

      2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

      3. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK (w/ Occupant Classification System)
