REAR SEATBACK HEATER(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH (REAR SEATBACK HEATER) (w/o Refresh Seat)

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Check the seatback cover surface.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         

         *a

         Component without harness connected (Rear Seatback Heater (Separate Type Rear Seatback Cover LH))

         *b

         Connector A

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition R42-6 - R42-7 Always 20°C 3.06 to 3.74 Ω R42-6 - R42-12 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω R42-7 - R42-12 Always 20°C 3.06 to 3.74 Ω R42-6 - A-1 Always 20°C 5.13 to 6.27 Ω R42-6 - A-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω R42-7 - A-1 Always 20°C 2.7 to 3.3 Ω R42-7 - A-2 Always 20°C 3.06 to 3.74 Ω R42-12 - A-1 Always 20°C 5.13 to 6.27 Ω R42-12 - A-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the Separate type rear seatback cover LH (rear seatback heater).

   3. Check the seatback cover side.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Rear Seatback Heater (Separate Type Rear Seatback Cover LH))

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 20°C 0.54 to 0.66 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the Separate type rear seatback cover LH (rear seatback heater).

2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH (REAR SEATBACK HEATER) (w/ Refresh Seat)

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Check the seatback cover surface.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 20°C 11.88 to 14.52 Ω 1 - 3 Always 20°C 11.88 to 14.52 Ω 2 - 3 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the Separate type rear seatback cover LH (rear seatback heater).

3. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH (REAR SEATBACK HEATER) (w/o Refresh Seat)

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Check the seatback cover surface.

      
      

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Component without harness connected (Rear Seatback Heater (Separate Type Rear Seatback Cover RH))

         Connector A

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition R9-6 - R9-7 Always 20°C 3.06 to 3.74 Ω R9-6 - R9-12 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω R9-7 - R9-12 Always 20°C 3.06 to 3.74 Ω R9-6 - A-1 Always 20°C 5.13 to 6.27 Ω R9-6 - A-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω R9-7 - A-1 Always 20°C 2.7 to 3.3 Ω R9-7 - A-2 Always 20°C 3.06 to 3.74 Ω R9-12 - A-1 Always 20°C 5.13 to 6.27 Ω R9-12 - A-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the Separate type rear seatback cover RH (rear seatback heater).

4. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH (REAR SEATBACK HEATER) (w/ Refresh Seat)
