FRONT SEATBACK HEATER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH (FRONT SEATBACK HEATER) (for Standard Seat Type)


    1. B004TXB

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Check the seatback cover surface.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A-1 - A-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω
        A-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 2.70 to 3.30 Ω
        A-1 - B-1 Always 20°C 2.34 to 2.86 Ω
        A-2 - B-1 Always 20°C 4.68 to 5.72 Ω
        B-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 4.68 to 5.72 Ω
        A-2 - B-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater).

    3. Check the seatback cover side.

        Component without harness connected

        (Front Seatback Heater (Separate Type Front Seatback Cover LH))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always 20°C 0.81 to 0.99 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater).

  2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH (FRONT SEATBACK HEATER) (for Sports Seat Type)


    1. B004SF0

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Check the seatback cover surface.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        A-1 - B-1 Always 20°C 2.34 to 2.86 Ω
        A-2 - B-1 Always 20°C 4.50 to 5.50 Ω
        B-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 4.50 to 5.50 Ω
        A-2 - B-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater).

    3. Check the seatback cover side.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 Always 20°C 0.72 to 0.88 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover LH (front seatback heater).

  3. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH (FRONT SEATBACK HEATER) (for Standard Seat Type)


    1. B004RVS

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Check the seatback cover surface.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        A-2 - B-1 Always 20°C 4.68 to 5.72 Ω
        B-1 - B-2 Always 20°C 4.68 to 5.72 Ω
        A-2 - B-2 Always 20°C Below 1 Ω
        If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover RH (front seatback heater).

    3. Check the seatback cover side.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH (FRONT SEATBACK HEATER) (for Sports Seat Type)

    2. Check the seatback cover surface.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
