REAR SEAT CUSHION ADJUSTER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Slide Motor (Rear No. 2 Seat Adjuster Assembly))

      Check the operation of the slide motor.

      
      

      1. Check that the rear No. 2 seat adjuster assembly moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Tester Connection Operational Direction R35-1 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) R35-4 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Forward R35-4 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) R35-1 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Backward If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 2 seat adjuster assembly.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Tilt Motor (Rear No. 2 Seat Adjuster Assembly))

      Check the operation of the tilt motor.

      
      

      1. Check that the rear No. 2 seat adjuster assembly moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the tilt motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Tester Connection Operational Direction T7-4 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T7-1 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Upward T7-1 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T7-4 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Downward If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 2 seat adjuster assembly.

   INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

      *a	Component without harness connected (Slide Motor (Rear No. 1 Seat Adjuster Assembly))

      Check the operation of the slide motor.

      
      

      1. Check that the rear No. 1 seat adjuster assembly moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the tilt motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Tester Connection Operational Direction R1-1 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) R1-4 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Forward R1-4 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) R1-1 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Backward If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 1 seat adjuster assembly.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Tilt Motor (Rear No. 1 Seat Adjuster Assembly))

      Check the operation of the tilt motor.

      
      

      1. Check that the rear No. 1 seat adjuster assembly moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the tilt motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Tester Connection Operational Direction T6-4 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T6-1 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Upward T6-1 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T6-4 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Downward If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No. 1 seat adjuster assembly.

   INSPECT REAR SEAT LEGREST ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Ottoman)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Ottoman Up-Down Motor (Rear Seat Legrest Arm Sub-Assembly RH))

      Check the operation of the ottoman up-down motor.

      
      

      1. Check that the rear seat legrest arm sub-assembly RH moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the ottoman up-down motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Tester Connection Operational Direction T15-4 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T15-1 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Upward T15-1 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T15-4 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Downward If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat legrest arm sub-assembly RH.

   2. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Ottoman Forward-Back Motor (Rear Seat Legrest Arm Sub-Assembly RH))

      Check the operation of the ottoman forward-back motor.

      
      

      1. Check that the rear seat legrest arm sub-assembly RH moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the ottoman forward-back motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Tester Connection Operational Direction T16-4 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T16-1 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Forward T16-1 - Auxiliary battery positive (+) T16-4 - Auxiliary battery negative (-) Backward If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat legrest arm sub-assembly RH.
