REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Fixed Seat Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

   REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 2 clips.

   2. Detach the hooks.

   3. 

      Remove the 10 hog rings.

   4. 

      Remove the 4 hog rings.

   5. 

      Pass the strap of the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the front side through the hole in the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

   6. 

      Remove the 26 hog rings and remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

   REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT WIRE RH (w/ Occupant Detection Sensor)

   
   
   1. 

      Detach the wire harness clamps.

   2. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the rear No. 2 seat wire RH.

   REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the seat cover wire.

4. Click here

   REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for the other side.

   
   

   1. Remove the rear seat headrest assembly.

5. Click here

   REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Remove the rear center seat headrest assembly.

   REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

   
   
   1. 

      Remove in this Direction

      Detach the claws and remove the 6 rear seat headrest supports.

   REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 2 nuts.

   2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the hooks and remove the rear seat center armrest assembly.

   REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

   2. 

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

   3. w/ Seat Heater System:

      
      
      1. 

         Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the clamp and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly LH.

      3. 

         Disconnect the connector.

      4. Detach the wire harness clamps and remove the rear seat wire LH.

   4. 

      	Remove in this Direction (1)
      	Remove in this Direction (2)

      Remove the nut.

   5. Remove the strap in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

   6. Remove the strap in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration.

   7. 

      Remove the 15 hog rings.

   8. 

      Pass the strap of the separate type rear seatback cover through the hole of the separate type rear seatback pad to the front side.

   9. 

      Remove the 14 hog rings and remove the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

   REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure for the RH side.

       Remove the seat cover wire.

    REMOVE REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

    REMOVE SUB SEATBACK BRACKET

       Remove in this Direction

       Remove the nut and remove the sub seatback bracket.

    REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST HINGE

    
    
    1. 

       Remove in this Direction

       remove the screw and bush.

    2. Detach the clips.

    3. Detach the wire harness clamp and remove the rear center seat armrest hinge.

    REMOVE CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER

    
    
    1. 

       Using a clip remover, detach the clips.

    2. 

       Using a clip remover, detach the clips.

    3. 

       Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Pull the rear console box wire through the hole in the center armrest hinge cover and remove the center arm rest hinge cover.

    REMOVE REAR CENTER NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Remove in this Direction

       Using moulding remover A, detach the claws.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the claw and remove rear center No. 2 seat armrest panel sub-assembly.

    REMOVE REAR CENTER NO. 2 SEAT ARMREST PANEL

       Remove in this Direction

       Remove the 3 screws and pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guides.

    2. 

       Disconnect the connector and remove the rear power seat switch together with the No. 2 rear center No. 2 seat armrest panel.

    REMOVE REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH

    REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

       Remove in this Direction

       Remove the 2 screws and pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the rear center seat armrest cup holder.

    REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

       Remove in this Direction

       Detach the claws and remove rear center seat armrest panel sub-assembly.

    REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 screws with the rear center seat armrest door closed.

    2. 

       With the rear center seat armrest door opened, remove the 2 screws and then remove the rear center seat armrest door.

    REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK HANDLE KNOB

    
    
    1. 

       Remove in this Direction

       Using moulding remover A, create a gap between the rear seat lock handle knob and center armrest lock.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claws through the gap and remove the rear seat lock handle knob.

    REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST PLATE

       Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Press the center armrest lock sub-assembly button to detach guide A.

    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the claw and guide B, and then remove the rear seat armrest plate.

    REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE

    
    
    1. 

       Detach the hooks and remove rear center seat armrest box.

    2. 

       Remove the rear console box wire from the hooks.

    3. 

       Detach the wire harness clamps.

    4. Disconnect the connector and remove rear console box wire.
