REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


  1. FUNCTIONS OF MAIN COMPONENTS

    Component Function
    Rear seat adjuster assembly Slide motor Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and rear seat slides forward and rearward.
    Front tilt motor Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and rear seat cushion lifts up and down.
    Ottoman up/down motor (w/ Ottoman) Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and ottoman seat length expansion and contraction.
    Ottoman long/short motor (w/ Ottoman) Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and ottoman seat moves forward and rearward.
    Rear seat headrest adjuster Headrest up/down motor Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and headrest rises and lowers.
    Headrest front/rear motor Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and headrest moves forward and rearward.
    Rear reclining adjuster sub-assembly (w/ Ottoman) Reclining motor Receives signal from position control ECU assembly, motor operates, and rear seatback tilts and reclines.
    Rear power seat switch (rear multi operation panel)
    • Sends a signals to the position control ECU assembly via LIN communication line when this switch is operated.

    • Sends a rear folding or return operation signal to the fold seat control ECU when this switch is operated. The rear is folded or returned to the original position based on this signal.
