INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure as for the LHD and RHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Pre-collision System:

        B004RMI Install in this Direction

        Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the inner rear view mirror assembly.

      2. B004UD7C01
        B004SZX "TORX" Screw
        B004UK4 Connector

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, install inner rear view mirror assembly with the screw.

        Torque:
        1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }

      3. Connect the connector.

    2. w/o Pre-collision System:

        B004RMI Install in this Direction

        Slide the inner rear view mirror assembly as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the inner rear view mirror assembly.

      2. B004RBB

        Using a T20 "TORX" socket wrench, install inner rear view mirror assembly with the screw.

        Torque:
        1.7 N*m  { 17 kgf*cm, 15 in.*lbf }

        Connect the connector.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-collision System, for Mono Camera Type)

  5. INSTALL NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER (w/ Pre-collision System, for Mono Camera Type)

  6. INSTALL FRONT ROOF TOP GARNISH (w/ Pre-collision System)

  7. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR STAY HOLDER COVER (w/o Pre-collision System)

      Attach the guide and temporarily install the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.

    2. B004XDF

      Slide the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover and attach the claw to install the inner rear view mirror stay holder cover.
