    INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Door Courtesy Light Switch Assembly)

      Inspect the front door courtesy light switch assembly.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L62-1 - Switch body Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      Not pushed Below 1 Ω
      Tip:

      Connect the negative (-) tester lead near the bolt hole.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front door courtesy light switch assembly.

      Inspect the front door courtesy light switch assembly.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L32-1 - Switch body Pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      Not pushed Below 1 Ω
      Tip:

      Connect the negative (-) tester lead near the bolt hole.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front door courtesy light switch assembly.
