  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

    REMOVE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw.

      Note:

      The "TORX" screw must not be reused.

    2. Pull out the front door courtesy light switch assembly.

      Note:

      Pulling the courtesy light switch out too far may damage the connector and wire harness. Therefore, make sure to only pull it out far enough so that the connector can be disconnected.

    3. Cover the application hole on the body with tape to prevent the wire harness from falling into the vehicle.

      Disconnect the connector.
