  1. DATA LIST

    Note:

    In the following table, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.

    Tip:

    Using the GTS to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

        ACC SW Power switch on (ACC) signal OFF or ON

        ON: Power switch on (ACC)

        OFF: Power switch off

        "ON" is also displayed for this item when the power switch is on (IG).

        ON: Power switch on (IG)

        OFF: Power switch off

        "OFF" is also displayed for this item when the power switch is on (ACC).

  2. ACTIVE TEST

    Tip:

    Using the GTS to perform Active Tests allows relays, VSVs, actuators and other items to be operated without removing any parts. This non-intrusive functional inspection can be very useful because intermittent operation may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Performing Active Tests early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time. Data List information can be displayed while performing Active Tests.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus:


      1. Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.

      2. Body Electrical / Front Left Door / Active Test.

      3. Body Electrical / Front Right Door / Active Test.

      4. Body Electrical / Rear Left Door / Active Test.

      5. Body Electrical / Rear Right Door / Active Test.

      6. Body Electrical / Rear Left Seat / Active Test.

      7. Body Electrical / Rear Right Seat / Active Test.

      8. Body Electrical / Entry&Start/ Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.


      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test

        Illuminated Entry System Turns on the lights that are controlled by the illuminated entry system* OFF or ON Perform the Active Test with DOOR switch in the map light sub-assembly and spot light assembly turned on.

        Fr Foot Light Interior illumination light assembly (footwell light) OFF or ON -
        Relay for Interior Light Auto Cut Function DOME CUT D relay OFF or ON

        When performing this active test, turn all the interior lights on.


        • OFF: DOME CUT D relay on (interior lights turn on)

        • ON: DOME CUT D relay off (interior lights turn off)

        Interior Illumination Light2 Multi-display (interior illumination light assembly) OFF or ON

        Preconditions for using the Active Test to check dimmer controlled illumination:


        • Power switch on (READY).

        • Shift lever is in any position other than P.

        Dimmer Signal Outputs night mode (dimmer signal) OFF or ON -








      • *: Refer to Operation Check for the lights that are controlled by the illuminated entry system.
