PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      Click here


      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test
        Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note
        Rear Side Buckle Light Rear seat belt buckle light OFF or ON -



      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test
        Tester Display
        Rear Side Buckle Light




      OK
      Rear seat belt buckle light turns on or off.
      Result
      Proceed to

      NG

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SEAT INNER BELT - MAIN BODY ECU [MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU])


    1. Disconnect the L91 rear seat inner belt assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the L92 rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH connector.

    3. Disconnect the G12 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      L92-1 (B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L92-2 (E) - G12-10 (BLIL) Always Below 1 Ω
      L92-2 (E) or G12-10 (BLIL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
