  • Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Service Bulletin.

PROCEDURE

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test
        Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note
        Fr Foot Light Interior illumination light assembly (footwell light) OFF or ON -



      1. Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test
        Tester Display
        Fr Foot Light




      OK
      Interior illumination light assembly (footwell light) turns on or off.

      NG

  2. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the G18 No. 1 interior illumination light assembly LH (footwell light LH) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G18-2 (B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      Result

      NG

      Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
