DOOR CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Remove the power window regulator switch assembly.

      Click here

   2. for LHD:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Lock
         *b	Unlock
         *c	Component without harness connected (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         OK
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I1-12 (L) - I1-5 (GND) Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω I1-12 (L) - I1-5 (GND) Lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher I1-7 (UL) - I1-5 (GND) Unlock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher I1-7 (UL) - I1-5 (GND) Unlock switch pushed Below 1 Ω

         Tech Tips

         If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

   3. for RHD:

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Lock
         *b	Unlock
         *c	Component without harness connected (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly)

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         OK
         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I4-12 (L) - I4-5 (GND) Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω I4-12 (L) - I4-5 (GND) Lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher I4-7 (UL) - I4-5 (GND) Unlock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher I4-7 (UL) - I4-5 (GND) Unlock switch pushed Below 1 Ω

         Tech Tips

         If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly.

   4. Install the power window regulator switch assembly.
