  1. FAIL-SAFE FOR SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS


    1. When there is a malfunction in the semiconductor power integration ECU while the vehicle is in motion [power switch on (IG)], the back-up light circuit can operate to turn the headlight ECU sub-assembly power source and stop lights on and off. However, when the vehicle is parked (power switch off), the headlight ECU sub-assembly power source and stop lights cannot turn on even if there is a malfunction in the ECU.
