This DTC is stored when overcurrent is detected during charging of the sub-battery continuously for 2 seconds.

(1 trip detection logic)

 Charging system Does not come on DTC stored

The details of a DTC can be checked by using the DTC Sub Code of the freeze frame data that was recorded when the DTC was output.

Tip:

Read freeze frame data using the GTS. Freeze frame data records the sub-battery module assembly condition when malfunctions are detected.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC B22E6)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    5. Read the DTCs.

      Result
      Result Proceed to
      DTC B22E6 is output A
      DTC B22E6 and other DTCs are output B

  2. Click here

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Clear the DTCs.

      Tip:

      If DTC B22E6 remains, turn the backup relay off to clear the DTC.


      1. Body Electrical > Sub Battery Module > Clear DTCs


    5. Turn the power switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.

      Result

    READ VALUE USING GTS (SUB BATTERY MODULE CURRENT)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (READY).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Sub Battery Module / Data List / Sub Battery Module Current.


      1. Body Electrical > Sub Battery Module > Data List
        Tester Display
        Sub Battery Module Current




    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  4. Click here

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Clear the DTCs.

      Tip:

      If DTC B22E6 remains, turn the backup relay off to clear the DTC.


      1. Body Electrical > Sub Battery Module > Clear DTCs


    5. Turn the power switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
