PARKING SUPPORT BRAKE SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the L18 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance on the wire harness side connector according to the value(s) in the table below.

      L18-1 (IG) - L18-30 (E) R - W-B IG power source signal Power switch off Below 1 V
      Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      L18-30 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the L18 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      • Shift lever in any position other than P

      • Vehicle speed is less than approximately 10 km/h (6 mph)

    5. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.
