ROOF SPEAKER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ROOF SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)


    1. With the speaker in the installed condition, check there are no abnormalities such looseness or rattling.

    2. Check that there is no foreign matter inside the speaker.

    3. Check that the speaker cone is not damaged.

    4. for LH Side:


      1. B004R4JC21
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Roof Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        N21-1 - N21-2 Always 1.8 to 2.6 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the roof speaker assembly.

    5. for RH Side:


      1. B004R4JC22
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Roof Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        N20-1 - N20-2 Always 1.8 to 2.6 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the roof speaker assembly.

  2. INSPECT ROOF SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)


    1. With the speaker in the installed condition, check there are no abnormalities such looseness or rattling.

    2. Check that there is no foreign matter inside the speaker.

    3. Check that the speaker cone is not damaged.

    4. for LH Side:


      1. B004R4JC23
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Roof Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        N23-1 - N23-2 Always 1.8 to 2.6 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the roof speaker assembly.

    5. for RH Side:


      1. B004R4JC10
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Roof Speaker Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        N22-1 - N22-2 Always 1.8 to 2.6 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the roof speaker assembly.
