DESCRIPTION

The telescopic motor (steering column assembly) is operated by the power source voltage supplied from the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU and slides the steering column assembly forward and backward. The telescopic position sensor in the telescopic motor (steering column assembly) detects the sliding position of the steering column assembly in the forward and backward directions and sends a signal to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU based on that sliding amount.
